Creator Subscription Terms

These Creator Subscription Terms apply to anyone who buys a VivoNovella Creator membership. VivoNovella is a digital entertainment and creative production platform operated by Arkin Gelisin as a sole proprietor in Ontario, Canada. In these terms, "VivoNovella" and "we" refer to that business. They add to the Terms of Service and the Submission Terms. If they conflict, these terms apply to your Creator membership.

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes (such as GST/HST), which are calculated at checkout from your billing address.

Creator Basic

$200.00/month or $2,160.00/year (10% off). 1,000 production credits each monthly cycle; productions up to 10 minutes.

Creator Extra

$350.00/month or $3,780.00/year (10% off). 2,000 production credits each monthly cycle; productions up to 20 minutes.

Creator Pro

$500.00/month or $5,400.00/year (10% off). 4,000 production credits each monthly cycle; productions up to 30 minutes.

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual term, at the price then shown on our website, until you cancel. We will tell you about any price change before it applies to your next renewal.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.

Credits are added once per monthly billing cycle, beginning on the day your membership starts (not on the first of the calendar month). Annual members receive their credits each month of their year, on the same day of the month.

Each monthly credit allowance is given once per membership and credit period, only after the payment for that period has succeeded. Proration charges from plan changes do not add a second allowance. If you switch between monthly and annual billing, the credit period you have already received is not credited again; your next allowance is added when that period ends, and then every month of your new term.

Unused credits roll over, up to one month's allowance. Apart from restored credits (see Cancellation), your balance therefore never exceeds 2 times your plan's monthly allowance (for example, 2,000 credits on Creator Basic). Credits above that limit expire when the next cycle's credits are added.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable. Credits are only used for VivoNovella productions, at the rates shown in the Production Configurator when you confirm a production.

If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately. You are charged the prorated price difference for the rest of the current term, and the difference in monthly credits is added straight away (once per cycle).

If you downgrade, the lower monthly credit allowance applies from your next cycle. Any credit for unused time on the higher plan is applied to future invoices by our payment provider.

If a renewal payment fails, we and our payment provider will retry it. While payment is being retried, you keep access to Creator Studio, but no new monthly credits are added until the payment succeeds. If payment cannot be collected, your membership ends.

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you have already paid for, and you keep full access and can use your credits until then.

When your membership ends, your unused credits are frozen for up to 90 days. Frozen credits cannot be used.

If you start a new Creator membership within 90 days, your frozen credits are restored in full, once, in addition to the credits of your new membership. Restored credits are kept separately: they do not count towards the rollover limit, are not removed at later renewals, and are used only after your other credits. Each time a later membership ends, the entire unused balance, including restored credits, is frozen again for a new 90-day period. Reactivating within that new period restores that frozen balance in full once; repeated cancellations or reactivations never duplicate credits.

The 90 days start on the date your membership ends. While you have no active membership you can still sign in, see your projects and billing, but you cannot spend credits on productions. Your projects are not deleted. After 90 days, frozen credits expire permanently and cannot be recovered.

The indicative seven-week production timeline starts only after rights review, creative scope approval and source-material approval. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Submissions are governed by the Submission Terms.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your membership, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before it applies.
