How we use information
To provide accounts, subscriptions, productions and support; to process payments and tax; to secure the service; and, with your consent where required, to send you updates. We do not sell personal information.
Marketing emails and consent
We only add you to the founding audience list if you tick the consent box. We keep a record of that consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time at vivonovella.com/unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
We have not yet started sending emails to the list. Only authorised VivoNovella administrators, using two-step verification, can see the list.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, database and file storage, and payment processing. Some may store information outside Canada (for example in the United States), where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Cookies and preferences
We use essential storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and billing period.
Retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is open and as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally seven years in Canada).
Your rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by contacting the Contact page at vivonovella.com/contact. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
Accounts are for adults. Children's profiles on Family plans are created and controlled by the adult account holder; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
